Holy snap, I love the feeling in this one. I love it! It gets me going, I have been listening to it while I'm doing my homework for a while now :P

To me for this kind of music, this track was mastered beautifully. The way the bass moves drives the melody and it blends perfectly with the lead and that synth that starts at 00:24 gives that other lead a more upbeat feeling. In the background, I guess have really strong falling and rising white noises with the cutoff filter to give every transition an atmospheric feel. the beginning could be just the bass line with its treble part filtered and no drums playing. I dunno something like that, just put your imagination into it.

To you, I guess you were just toying around with what you had and came up with that. Lol, lucky, It's very hard to try and get lucky when playing around with knobs. I really want to hear a complete song of this.

Haha thanks for the review :D im glad you liked it!
this project started out as a remix, since i firstly wanted to remix: Ben Gold - Where Life Takes Us
but then it just changed into this song lol.
i too hope i can make a full song out of this. eventho it isnt my normal style or even my genre.

Whoo!! Slenderman!!! This song sounds pretty cool, the tempo changed a bit and I liked that, but near the middle, that synth in the middle seemed to be overpowering the drums and the drums are a bit too soft fro me. In every good drum and bass song the drums are really loud and punchy. AND... you need a good "subby" bass. That low string melody (if its a string) could be relaced with that subby, well, not so subby bass to give a more drive into the song and with the punchy drums it should sound like that. You know what I mean? Also I just don't know if all these flaws are intended for style because piano melodies generally move around allot and doesn't have all the elements of drum and bass song. Other than that, amazing song!

MrKittie responds:

Now come to think of it, maybe i just have added a sub at the drop. But not to loud because i prefer the melodies to be more a focus then the bass if you know what i mean.
Also yeah the drums where intended to be like that. I didn't want them to be big and punchy. I just wanted really tappy snares haha.

Also, i bet my mastering could have been better but this was sort of a rush, 3-4 hours or so :S
And thank you for your constructive criticism and i appreciate your liking for the song!

Thank you for following because you'll be seeing LOOOTS more from me haha!
i've been working on and allot more stuff too :3

Wow, this is amazing. I like the atmosphere and the how to instruments move around quite quickly. I would say this though, It would help if you have the reverberated instruments to more separated as in not centered because having it too close would make it sound as if you had a bad sound system. If they were separated it would have a feel to make the atmosphere feel like its around you. You know what I'm saying? Also make more stronger kicks, to me this sounds like a house track, I suggest a kick more near the low and and sound less like a real kick. K that's all I had to say :3

Cahzmana responds:

we could explore our soundbanks and all that shit and seek for a better kick.
we also recommend what you said about the instrument separating, which is probably one of the first fixes we gonna do.
and least but not last, the pitching seemed a bit dull to us.. how is that with you?
anyways, thanks for the time taken.
we appreciate it ;)
cheers from us Cahzmana and RicoB.

google is your best friend.

Yes, I can hear the difference.

This is a really calm song for house. The way you do the percs is amazing, how you put that plucked synth in synchronization with the aux. I should try that...

Mastering is really simple...

All you have to do is find an EQ, and lower the hats only, and i'm curious in how you did those hats.
I see future in this track :)

TimerClock14 responds:

Hmm...I'll give that a shot. :D

I use FL, so I can send the hats to a piano roll instead of just the pattern sequencer, and I just kinda started spamming 1/16th and 1/32nd notes all over. xD

Incredible...

This is a really great mix for Avizura, I'm sure he'll be really honored to hear this.

MessanyRecordings responds:

Thank you so much for the awesome comment.
I'll ask him

First Submission on NG

You could hum a longer version of this and you can actually make a full length on this one.

Sounds Familliar...

There's this game called "Runescape" I'm not sure if you heard of it but the soundtrack's instruments sounds just like the instruments in this song...

other than that great song.

Wow!

That's pretty impressive for your first "real" DnB song, my first DnB song turned out crappy, I have only 2 DnB tracks, but Ill stick with Trance (I give you 5)

KroweMusic responds:

Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

Quit hatin.

this is drum n bass, the beat is supposed to be like this, and it doesn't have to sound like chaoz songs, its drum n bass ffs.
